"Do The Write Thing" will take place. Produced by Jaja Morgan
Performances inspired by classic scenes from various Spike Lee films and 80's hip hop. Detroit's hottest poets, comedians, and emcees will be reimaging dope scenes and songs from one of the greatest time periods and adding their own flavor performing original works. Performances by Cold Men Young, Mic Write, Heather Jay Henderson,Young Phenom, Mic Larry, Kopelli, NameTag, Detroit CYDI, Street Justice, JYoung, RenCen Coolbeanz, Jaydun, Sheefy Mcfly, Ideeyah, Saxappeal and the band. The show will be hosted by Comedian Mic Larry and Spoken word artist Dizmantle with sounds by DJ Sicari.
